Fundraising & Events Coordinator Job Description Summary: Local non-profit comfort care home looking for highly motivated individual to lead and expand our fund-raising efforts. Contract position of $5000 with four quarterly equal payments.
Responsibilities and Duties: . Coordinate Casino Night for House of John . Manage the Golf Tournament annually . Assist with Wine Maker Dinner . Ensure fund raising income meets budget requirements . Organize fund raising committee . Identify other potential opportunities to raise funds
Qualifications: Educational degree in marketing and managerial field. Experience with proven track record. Must be a self-starter who requires little supervision, excellent time management and communication skills.
Per Diem Over Night CNA House of John is a two-bedroom comfort care home in Clifton Springs. We operate under the hospice philosophy, providing 24-hour care for the terminally ill in a residential setting. We offer physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those facing end of life. We also provide support to family members and friends. This position is for one 8 hour overnight a week. May pick up other overnight shifts as needed as well as part time shifts of 8pm to midnight. Requirements:
Minimum of 1-year prior experience in care of the dying required.
Minimum of 1-year prior experience in meeting basic health needs.
Medication Certified CNA preferred.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be responsible, compassionate, flexible, and adaptable in an environment that can change moment to moment.
Works alone between the hours of midnight and 8:00 a.m.
Provides all care for resident, and family members including but not limited to bathing, feeding, providing medication, monitoring of resident’s condition.
Concise shift report to on coming shift and to the on-call nurse.
Monitors and assesses resident status notifying on call nurse promptly with any changes.
Provides support to family members.
Performs household duties including, but not limited to meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, and cleaning.
Responsible for preparation of room following resident’s death.
Maintains House of John Resident’s Journal.
Maintains confidentiality of House, residents, and families.
Functions as an integral part of the House of John care giver team.
