The Care Coordinator will schedule, train and recruit volunteers to fulfill their roles within our home. The Care Coordinator maintains the schedule for volunteers, per diem workers and staff.
Minimum two years of volunteer coordination/development preferred. Knowledge of Hospice philosophy and palliative care principles, basic requirements for health and hygiene a must. LPN or experience in healthcare preferred.
The ideal candidate will be responsible, compassionate, flexible and adaptable in an environment that can change moment to moment. A team player able to interact with staff, volunteers, residents and their families. Able to prioritize tasks and problem solve. Previous experience in a health care setting, strong communication skills and experience with end-of-life care a plus.
